Reverse Osmosis is the opposite of Osmosis. Reverse Osmosis is the process of forcing a solvent from a region of high solute concentration through a semipermable membrane to a region of low solute concentration by applying pressure over osmotic pressure. Whereas osmosis is a natural phenomenon that occurs in cells of living things where solvent molecules (usually water) will flow from low concentrated regions to high concentrated regions through a semipermeable membrane. This semipermeable membrane refers to any cell membrane or membrane that has a similar structure or part of a cell membrane. The movement of the solvent continues until a balanced concentration is reached on both sides of the membrane.

To get fresh water from seawater can be done by reverse osmosis, a process of filtering sea water using pressure is flowed through a filter membrane. This system is called SWRO (Reverse Osmosis Seawater) and is widely used on ships or installations of clean water on the beach with seawater raw materials. We sell RO machines ranging from small capacities for households to large capacity for commercial use.
